Blakely Hunze, M.S**
Blakely Hunze is a born-and-raised Nashville native and one of those truly caring individuals you hope a therapist would be. With her calm, witty, and occasionally sarcastic personality, she works to bring out the light in everyone she meets. Realistic and unafraid of a challenge, Blakely is passionate about and experienced in treating adolescents and adults who have been through trauma, as well as those struggling with substance use, addiction, and performance anxiety.
A graduate of Lipscomb University, Blakely obtained a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in addictions. She has a diverse background having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a concentration in forensic anthropology and archaeology. Although she is pre-licensed, Blakely is no stranger to the field. She has worked in a psychiatric hospital specializing in patients with thought disorders and has experience working with adolescent males struggling with substance abuse, and has also assisted in an inpatient setting which uses a 12-Step program.
Blakely loves reading, the ocean, and her dog Louie. She is an amateur connoisseur of coffee and appreciative of a good pun. But at the top of her list, she wants very much to help empower clients to find their own voice and inner strength.
