Dr. Vaughn is a seasoned Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), a national speaker, and has served as an expert consultant for some of the most difficult clinical cases in the U.S. She received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Argosy University-Atlanta Campus and completed her Doctoral internship at Vanderbilt University where she founded and currently leads their DBT Peer Consultation team. She worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs in the PTSD Intensive Program where she conducted Prolonged Exposure (PE) for combat veterans and women with Military Sexual Trauma. She served for 6 years as a provider for Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) conducting fitness-for-duty evaluations for soldiers preparing to enter the military. Jen has a fantastic reputation as a therapist in Nashville for her success in working with clients of all ages. She loves working with couples, people with mood disorders (especially Bipolar Disorder!), trauma, and substance abuse. Jen has worked as a private practitioner, in-home family counselor, and residential therapist. Not only that, but she is currently working on getting a doctorate degree! She loves a good challenge and has the magic touch when it comes to clients who have trouble opening up.
In addition to being a master DBT therapist, Jen has also completed 3 levels of training in the well-researched Gottman Method for working with couples and is headed toward full certification. Caroline is a graduate of Lipscomb University where she obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in conflict management. Caroline is also a Rule 31 Qualified Family Mediator. She completed her undergraduate degree in Music Business from Belmont University and is still actively involved in the music industry. Caroline’s diverse background in psychology, music, sports, and bizarre hobbies contributes to who she is as a therapist.

Need a good listener? Alex completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lipscomb and is currently working on her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy as well (go Bisons!). Fun fact: Alex started a nursing program but realized her true passion during the psych rotation.
Alex is interested in seeing a variety of people…children, adolescents, couples and families. Her authenticity irreverence make her approachable and transparent. She lives by the motto, "What you see is what you get." Alex is interested in working with clients who have family conflict, personality and mood disorders, or have been through traumatic experiences.
In her free time, Alex enjoys traveling and listening to music. Don't ask her who her favorite band is, though! Growing up in Memphis surrounded by music has led her to be appreciate all types of tunes. You can usually find Alex doing some type of physical activity - her current W.O.C. (workout of choice) is Barre. She's a health-food junkie but admits that she can down a bag of HOT chips in record time.
