Emily DeSalvatore, M.S.**
Emily is a graduate of Lipscomb University where she completed her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Previously, Emily worked in community mental health for 2 years as a Lead Behavior Coach. Prior to that, she spent 4 years as a college athlete and understands the stress and anxiety of performing when the stakes are high. Emily believes in her clients and their abilities even when they don't recognize them themselves.
Emily specializes in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and athletes. She provides supportive therapy and specializes in Play Therapy for children. Emily is a member of the International OCD Foundation and Exposure/Response Prevention to treat OCD. She is interested in treating mood disorders, trauma, addiction, behavioral concerns, and childhood disorders.
In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, running, boxing, and was formerly a personal trainer. She believes people can almost always do more than they think--and limits are made in the mind alone. Check out this article on Emily in Nashville Fit Magazine HERE.
