Jacque Huffaker, LPC-MHSP

Behavior Specialist

Jacque Huffaker is a natural—she was born to be a therapist (and a parent coach!). She is that rare blend of clinician who possesses both strength and warmth which seem to magically combine to create “just the right fit” for just about any personality type. She can put you at ease while challenging you in the same moment. Jacque knows that it takes guts to spill long-held secrets and raw emotions and believes that anyone willing to take on that challenge deserves the utmost respect.

If there’s one thing that Jacque is known for, it is being a leader. She is a problem-solver who never backs down from a challenge, while her wry and quirky sense of humor keep her from taking herself too seriously. PSYCHē, PLLC had to wait for 2 long years to talk Jacque into coming on, but it was well worth the wait.

Jacque received her Master’s Degree from Lipscomb University, worked as a Clinical Coordinator and Chairman of the Advisory Board for the national non-profit organization,  Resources for Human Development, and is a seasoned presenter on difficult topics such as sexual offender behavior, workplace boundaries, trauma-informed care, and personality disorders. In addition to her role as a therapist and coordinator, she has also authored safety protocols for the Middle Tennessee Regional Human Rights Committee.  In her spare time, she can be found chasing around her vivacious toddler, hiking with her brilliant husband, or catching a live music show.
