Jen has a fantastic reputation as a therapist in Nashville. She is renowned for her successes in treating children, adolescents, and adults and enjoys working with couples’ concerns, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral issues. Jen has worked as a private practitioner, in-home family counselor, and residential therapist. She loves a good challenge and has the magic touch when it comes to clients who have trouble opening up. She is always on your side and is notorious in our office for going the extra mile and making personal sacrifices to help a client in need.

In addition to being a master-swag DBT therapist, Jen has also completed 3 levels of training in the well-researched Gottman Method for working with couples and is headed toward full certification. She firmly believes couples should not leave therapy feeling more hopeless than when they arrived so she helps them re-engage and leave feeling closer, not further apart. That being said, Jen doesn't mince words. You came for her opinion and she promises she will give it.

Jen received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 and has lived in the middle Tennessee area for over 30 years. She enjoys CrossFit, is a certified yoga instructor, loves hiking and music, and pretends to be a chef. She is always learning new things, seeking adventures, and is an avid reader of fiction. Jen acknowledges that she must be cautious engaging in all of the aforementioned activities due to her tendency to inadvertently injure herself whilst giving them her all.
