Dr. Vaughn is a seasoned Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), a national speaker, and has served as an expert consultant for some of the most difficult clinical cases in the U.S. She received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Argosy University-Atlanta Campus and completed her Doctoral internship at Vanderbilt University where she founded and currently leads their DBT Peer Consultation team. She worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs in the PTSD Intensive Program where she conducted Prolonged Exposure (PE) for combat veterans and women with Military Sexual Trauma. She served for 6 years as a provider for Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) conducting fitness-for-duty evaluations for soldiers preparing to enter the military. Blakely Hunze is a unicorn. We say this not only because she is a true, born-and-raised Nashville native, but Blakely is one of those truly caring and driven individuals who will stick beside her clients no matter the challenges and difficulties that they face. With her calm, witty, and occasionally sarcastic personality, she brings out the light in everyone she meets. Realistic and unafraid of a challenge, Blakely is passionate about and experienced in treating adolescents and adults facing trauma, substance abuse, addictions, and behavioral concerns such as performance anxiety.
A graduate of Lipscomb University, Blakely obtained a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in addictions. She also attended Middle Tennessee State University for her Bachelor’s degree where she studied Anthropology while concentrating in forensic anthropology and archaeology. Previously, Blakely worked in a psychiatric hospital specializing in patients with thought disorders. She has experience working with adolescent males struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, and she has also practiced in an inpatient setting that utilizes the 12-Step program.
During her downtime, Blakely most enjoys activities such as traveling, hiking, and becoming a connoisseur of coffee. Need a good listener? Alex completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lipscomb and is currently working on her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy as well (go Bisons!). Fun fact: Alex started a nursing program but realized her true passion during the psych rotation.
Alex is interested in seeing a variety of people…children, adolescents, couples and families. Her authenticity irreverence make her approachable and transparent. She lives by the motto, "What you see is what you get." Alex is interested in working with clients who have family conflict, personality and mood disorders, or have been through traumatic experiences.
In her free time, Alex enjoys traveling and listening to music. Don't ask her who her favorite band is, though! Growing up in Memphis surrounded by music has led her to be appreciate all types of tunes. You can usually find Alex doing some type of physical activity - her current W.O.C. (workout of choice) is Barre. She's a health-food junkie but admits that she can down a bag of HOT chips in record time.

If you’re ready to shake things up, Staci is the therapist for you. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University with a specialization in Conflict Management. But she’s not just any old therapist. Stacy has already completed an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and then earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Belmont University). She’s no stranger to problem-solving and has real-world skills to help just about anyone.
Staci loves working on what she calls “change management.” Seeing people feel good about themselves and face the fear of change head-on is what gets her out of bed in the morning. She is interested in working with a variety of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families and has the energy and heart it takes to do so.
In her free time, Staci enjoys traveling, trying new Nashville restaurants, teaching group fitness classes, and conducting personal fitness training sessions. Being the best she can be, and helping others do so, as well, is her thing! But don’t be fooled… Staci isn’t all work and no play. She will pretty much binge-watch anything… and then re-watch it again. Her current obsessions are Billions and Game of Thrones.
